Hey guys!
Soooo what's special that's coming up? Father's Day! That’s right and it’s this coming Sunday June 16, 2019!!
I love Mother's Day because I am a mother myself, but there's something extra special about Father's Day.
In my opinion, I don't think that Dad's are honored enough for Father's Day. There are lots of hardworking Dads out there really putting in work and making it happen for their families and children. Yes it's true that you may have a few that are not doing their jobs, but for the most part, there are lots of amazing Dads out there. I know this to be true because my husband is an AMAZING Dad to our children and my Dad was one of a kind.
My Dad passed away when I was only 5 years old, but he was such a great Father that the memories I have of him are just as clear as if they just recently happened. My Dad worked as a manager for General Motors, owned a tire shop, played with a professional bowling league, coached a little league baseball team and helped my mother raise my older siblings who were not biologically his. He did all of that and never fell short in any area especially when it came to me. I am his only biological child so of course I was a bit on the "spoiled" side. LOL! I didn't want to go anywhere without him ever and when my mom said no to me about something, his answer was always YES! I wish that he was still here so that I could really honor him.
So if your Dad is still living or if your child's Father is good to your children (whether you're together or not), find it in your heart to honor him in some type of way. Never stress over money if you do not have it because there plenty of affordable/FREE ways to show your honor. Below are a few ideas..
