What we love: Dole Whip! Dole Whip is vegan, fat free, low calorie option made with no artifical flavors. Every week they feature a different flavor. Every day they pick a theme of names to give a free soft serve cone. On Tuesdays they have a car show. They recently started ice cream flights! You can try out four different ice creams at one time, or buy to share with your family. Holy Cow is also right next to a big field, perfect for my kiddo to run off that sugar.
Stroh’s Ice Cream Parlour

What we love: Stroh’s has so many options of ice cream flavors! Definitely a flavor for any mood you’re in! The place is always clean and staff is friendly. Stroh’s is located downtown Wyandotte, perfect to explore the shops, walk by the water or visit Bishop Park.
Fudgy’s Ice Cream

What we love: This one hits me in the childhood as we used to always get Fudgy’s after Softball games! Whether it’s a slushy, a flurry, a banana split or a good ole ice cream cone it’s all yummy. And you have the bridge to run back and forth on or end up exploring the other side.
Swirl Fro-Yo

What we love: Almond milk fro-yo for the win! Swirl has tons of toppings to top off your delicious froyo, but also rolled ice cream and smoothies. The inside is super cute, and they’ve added an outside area with outdoor games. Swirl is located in downtown Trenton, perfect for a night stroll.

What we love: I think most of Downriver would disown me if this one didn’t make the list, I’ve met some true diehard Bob Jo’s fans! If you’re looking for frozen custard this is the place to be, be prepared to get a mountain of it because they give you a generous serving! Week long special flavors, house made Italian ice you can‘t go wrong. Gotta love the toasted coconut! Make sure to bring cash!
